Introduce Your Child To Skiing or Improve Their Skills With Powder Pups

Powder Pups is Chestnut Mountain Resort's specialized ski program designed to help children ages 4-10 discover the joy of skiing in a fun and safe environment. With small class sizes and professional instructors, kids get the personalized attention they need to build confidence on the slopes. The program focuses on age-appropriate techniques, teaching young skiers essential skills while ensuring they enjoy every moment. Whether they’re just starting out or looking to improve, Powder Pups is the perfect way to enhance your child’s skiing ability.

Program Details

Powder Pups is located on the bottom floor of the hotel near the arcade and locker room. Our programs fill up fast and reservations are required. Reservations can be made online in advance. Some reservations may be made the day of at the Powder Pups desk. Allow a minimum of 30 minutes prior to the start of the lesson to check in, locate your child’s cubby and pre-set rental gear, and prepare your child for their lesson. A parent or guardian will be required to be on premises when children are participating in our programs.

Powder Pups lessons are playful yet challenging and led by instructors who specialize in teaching youth skiers. All classes are grouped by ability level. At the end of each lesson your child’s instructor will give you a detailed report of the lesson and your child’s progress.
