Fri., Mar. 15 – Mardi Gras Pub Crawl
- Sign up opens at 2 p.m. at The Grape Escape.
- 6 p.m Start Mardi Gras weekend off right with a pub crawl!
- Bring your Cajun spirits and Sugar Skull passions for lots of fun, great friends, drinks and plenty of beads!
- The crawl joins the Wundo Band and heads down Main St. in Galena starting at the Green Street Tavern at the DeSoto House Hotel.
- $15/person includes drink specials and give-aways!
Shamrock Shimmy 5K Race
- Mini Shimmy kid’s race starts at 8 a.m.
- Adult Shimmy for adults starts at 8:15 a.m.
- Starting behind the Elks club in front of the Old Market House.
- $30 entry fee with t-shirt, drink token, water, raffle ticket and goody bag.
- Awards will be given to the Best Dressed, 1st Place Male, 1st Place Female, and Most Fun Group.
- Elks will donate a portion of the profits to the Galena ARC.
St. Patrick’s Day Parade
- Starts at 4 p.m. on Main Street, Galena.
- A “fun for the whole family” parade including marching bands, costumed clans and floats. Admission: Free
- After the parade, head to the Elks lodge for music!
